The main body of the church as it was built in 1840 is 30 x 40 and I managed to fill every square foot with some sort of chair. Oh - there was the occassional table or armoire - but mostly CHAIRS. The more we unloaded into the church - the more the floor sagged. I was beginning to get a sick feeling in my stomach as the floor seemed to give way under the weight of my furnishings......it was only a hint of what was ahead of us.
